The Importance Of Staying Positive
By John Karnish
When circumstances turn out in ways that you do not like, or if your having a day or even week riddled with problems, it can be real easy to get down, get upset and looking at everything negatively. On the contrary, there are many reasons why you should remain positive during family problems, work stressors or even problems of daily living. By being in a positive frame of min, you can better deal with your stressors and not have to worry about some at all. Granted, there will be times when it is hard to look on the bright side of things such as having little time to get your work done, simply have too much or have stressors that no you can not handle. However, if you take time and practice you can begin to see positives in even the most hopeless situations. By practicing seeing the positives, you will be training yourself to look at things more positively. Probably the first step is to mentally take a step back and begin to look at everything as a whole picture. This is important because you will begin to see everything as a whole and won't get bogged down with small details. As you look at the whole picture, you'll see positives. For example assume that your dog peed on the floor of your house. Instead of looking at this one detail, see the whole picture of your dog. How he is always happy to see you when you come home from work, how much joy he brings you children, how he protects your house and so on. Maybe your house training your dog and yes he did pee on the floor, but maybe it was his first time in 7 days, while last week he peed 3x on the floor. Sound silly but you could look at it as he is making improvements. Look at the big picture. Did you ever here the song "When you're smiling, the whole world smiles at you?" It's true isn't it? Well when you start being more positive you attract more positive circumstances. If you understand the law of attraction, you'll agree. If you think the law of attraction is rubbish, then look at it this way. When you are positive, you're in a better mood. People can sense this and are more likely to react positively to you. For instance if you are in a party and don't know anyone, who are you going to approach? Are you going to approach the the man with the frown on his face not having a good time or the one smiling, making eye contact and seems to be enjoying himself? Stay positive and you will attract more positive circumstances in life, business and your social life and feel a lot better mentally. |

More people need to follow your advise, John. Positive does attract positive, even if it's just a sincere smile. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes. Frederick
